I have always been a fan of healthy eating and an active lifestyle. It plays a very important role in my life. It is important for me to feel good in my body and I want to show others that a healthy lifestyle is not as hard as it seems. Being healthy helps you to live longer, feel better about yourself and allows you to become a good example. When your children and grandchildren see you exercising and eating healthily, they will be more likely to follow your example. All you need to do is to have good intentions and then everything becomes possible!

The food you put in your body will stabilize your blood sugar and keep your energy level steady throughout the day and avoid those dreaded crashes. A diet rich in foods such as whole grains, oats, pulses, nuts and seeds will help you stay healthy and full of energy.

Cutting down alcohol, caffeine and sugar is really important in order to have a good night’s sleep. When you improve the quality of your sleep, you give your body a better chance to rejuvenate and in exchange – it becomes much easier to lose weight and make healthier choices when it comes to food.

It is proven that consuming a healthy diet makes you feel a whole lot better both inside and out, which leads to higher self-confidence. When you eat well, sleep well and are in good mental health – you tend to feel a lot better about yourself and the world around you. Food acts as medicine – to maintain, prevent, and treat disease.

Probably the best part of embracing a healthy lifestyle – you will look and feel so much younger! You will be full of energy. A nutritional diet, enough exercise and sleep are the key ingredients in maintaining a balanced life!
